You care deeply about your child. When anxiety, trauma, or attention challenges begin to disrupt daily life, it can feel confusing, frustrating, and at times overwhelming. Many caregivers quietly wonder if they’re missing something — or worry they’re not responding in the “right” way.
Often, behaviors that seem sudden or intense are rooted in stress responses that don’t yet have words. When we slow down and begin to understand what is happening beneath the surface, both children and caregivers feel relief.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, I support children and families in gently making sense of these patterns. My approach integrates body-brain oriented interventions with evidence-based therapy, helping children understand how their bodies respond to stress and emotion — and helping parents feel more confident in how they respond, too.
When children begin to understand what’s happening inside their bodies, their reactions start to make sense. Moments of fight, withdrawal, or overwhelm are no longer signs of failure — but signals of a nervous system trying to cope.
As children experience consistent safety, co-regulation, and steady support, their capacity for regulation grows. What once felt chaotic begins to feel manageable. From that foundation of steadiness, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
